I was born in Lynwood California , at St Francis hospital. I grew up in Norwalk, CA. I attended Elmcroft Elementary school , Los Alisos Intermediate School and Excelsior Union High School. I graduated with honors in 1968. I went to Brigham Young University in 1968, met and married David Loren Smith on August 2, 1969. Our son Matthias David Smith was born on May 17, 1970 in Provo, Utah. We moved to Moline, Illinois in September of 1970. We divorced in July of 1971.
