Biography

Edna was born October 22nd, 1922 in rural Eleva, Wisconsin to Edward Sterry & Annette Everson.^[1] She graduated from Wisconsin State University-Eau Claire and taught school in Trempealeau County and Hartford before returning to Eau Claire where she has resided the past 23 years. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church. She married Sidney Solfest August 30th, 1947 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Edna died June 9th, 1969 at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.^[2]

She is survived by her husband; four sons, Dennis, James, Gregory, and Bradley, all at home; her mother, Mrs. Annette Sterry, Eleva; four brothers, Palmer and Albin Sterry, both of Eleva, and Jesse and Howard Lardahl of Lake Wissota; five sisters, Mrs. Bruce Geiger, and Mrs. Gladys Tyacke, both of Milwaukee, Mrs. Alice Loomis, Eau Claire, Miss Doris Sterry, Minneapolis, and Mrs. Roger Olson, Stillwater, Minnesota.^[3]

Edna is buried at the Rest Haven Cemetery in Washington, Wisconsin, USA^[4]
