Biography
Petrus Stevenius son of farmer Per Borjessen and Gertrud Trulsdotter. Born Stafvie 22 March 1700. Attended Lund school. Ordained in Stangby 19 March 1729. Candidate Pastor in (Hoj?) 1734. Died 3 October 1763. Married in 1734 to Elsa Magdalena Kock (born Ingelosa 1708 died 1775).
Born the son of Per or Peder Börjesson, he changed his surname to 'Stevenius' (a Latin form of the place name Stave) on becoming a cleric.
