Ezra Stevens was born in 1794, to Forward Stevens and Rachel Knapp. He had three sisters Phebe, Lucy, Rachel, and a twin brother David Benedict.[1]
Ezra's first marriage was to Arata Fanton[2] with whom he had at least five known children: Philander, Eliza, Rachel, Sally and Elbert. His second marriage was to Mary Wheeler[3] or Bethel, in Danbury Connecticut, 22 March 1849 officiated by Rve Rollin S. Stone.[4]
Ezra is buried in Wooster Cemetery, Danbury, Fairfield, Connecticut[5]
