STEWART, FRANKLIN M Born: 1846 Enlisted August 19 1863 at Lake City Florida. He was sent to Florida to arrest deserters in early 1864 and deserted in 1864. He was captured by US Forces while in Bed at Home in Putnam County Florida March 25 1864 He was taken to Palatka Height : 5 Ft. 11 " Eyes: Blue Hair: Red Skin: Sandy His Father NEWTON STEWART served in Company B, 2nd Florida Cavalry and deserted at Olustee. The Father was expected to come over to the U.S. Side "Soon"
