Miss Elizabeth Stockbridge, aged 65 years, was found dead in bed at her home in Lincoln street, Brooklyn, about 3.30 o’clock yesterday afternoon. Miss Stockbridge had been under treatment by Dr, Robertson for heart disease. She was last seen alive by some neighbours at 3.30 p.m. on Saturday on her way to her home, where she resided alone. The neighbours became anxious at her non-appearance since then, and they notified the police. Yesterday afternoon the police gained admittance to the house and discovered her lying dead in bed. Dr Robertson gave a certificate that death was due to heart disease. [2]
