Cleveland was born 16 Nov 1913 in Bath County, Kentucky, USA. His parents were Burl and Maggie Barber Stone. ^[1]

In 1920 He was living in in his grandparents home with his father. ^[2]

In 1930 He was listed as being employed on his fathers farm. There is no record of him attending school but he was listed as being able to read and write.^[3]

He married Millie B Hedrick on 06 Jun 1931 in Mount Sterling, Montgomery County, Kentucky, United States. ^[4]

He was living in Bethel, Bath County in 1940 with his wife and daughter Nancy. ^[5]

He passed away 27 Feb 1958 In Paris, Bourbon County, Kentucky, USA. ^[6]

He was laid to rest on March 3, 1958 in Bailey Cemetery, Owingsville, Bath County, Kentucky, USA ^[7]
