Biography
Robert Stoops was born in 1799. He was born in Kentucky but was an early resident of Brookville Township in Franklin County, Indiana where he first married to Catherine Carter in 1822.
He again married to Sarah (Vincent) Martin, widow of Amos D. Martin, in 1850. He passed away in 1875.
