Her family went to America.
She was baptised on 1 January 1746 at Crowle, Lincolnshire.
In 1765 she married John Spencer, the younger son of Robert Spencer and Mary Furness, widow of Thomas Herrot, and they had three daughters and three sons. He was the younger brother of Robert who married her sister, Dorothy.
In about 1770 with their elder (at least three) children, the family went to America.
