Biography
"Theodorus Streser" of Lintgen and "Maria Clos" of Fischbach were married in Fischbach on 12 Nov 1747.[1] In later records, the couple were sometimes recorded under the name Stroesser (or a variant thereof) and sometimes under the name Clos.
The couple had a number of children baptized in Fischbach.
- Maria "Clos sive Streisser" on 24 Dec 1748[2]
- Joannes Fridericus "Clos sive Streisser" on 1 Jan 1751[3]
- Nicolaus "Strösser sive Clos" on 8 Apr 1753. (His mother's name was given as "Maria Lucas.")[4]
- Mathias "Claus sive Strösser" on 2 June 1755.[5]
- Henricus "Stroeser", with the variants "(Clos) (Stresel) Streisser" recorded in the margin, on 24 Oct 1757.[6]
- Henricus Theodorus "Stroeser" on 26 July 1760. (His mother's name was given as "Maria Lucas.")[7]
- Anna Maria "Stroeser" on 1 Apr 1763. (Her mother's name was given as "Maria Lucas.")[8]
- Anna "Stroeser" on 28 Nov 1765.[9]
- Margarita "Stroesser" on 3 May 1768.[10]
"Theodorus Strösser" died on 15 Jan 1772 and was buried in the Fischbach cemetery the following day. His age was given as 48 years.[11]
