Biography
Eunice Strout was born on 26 July 1770 in Gorham, Maine. Her parents were Elisha Strout and Eunice (Freeman) Strout[1].
She married William Edgecomb on 18 September 1792[2]. They had four children[3]:
- 1. Benjamin, born 5 Jul 1793; married Polly Gove
- 2. William, born Feb 1798; married Hannah Johnson
- 3. Mehitable, born 6 Jan 1800; married Isaac Strout
- 4. Polly, born 1802; married Gilbert Strout
William was killed by a falling tree in 1804, and Eunice married his brother Nicholas on 17 October 1805 in Limington, Maine[4].
