Biography

James was born in 1886 in Virginia. His parents are Joel Sturgill and Cynthia Maggard (who passed away in 1890).

James married Eva Shortt in 1908 and they divorced in 1936. They had been separated for 2y 9m.

He passed away in 1967 and is buried in the Joel Sturgill Cemetery. [1]
