Burial: Fountain Community Cemetery, Fountain, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, USA.

Carved on the head stone: "In memory of the innocent death of Henry A Stutzman, son of Wm A and Catharine Stutzman born Nov 9, 1849 Came to his death in his own house Adams County, Nebraska Feb 8, 1879, by the murderous hands of Wm John McEltoy who ten days after was tried and found guilty of murder in First degree was sentenced by Hon Judge Gasten to be executed May 29, 1879. Afterwards claimed and was granted a second trial. Pledid guilty in second degree and was sentenced by same Judge to imprisonment for life at hard labor. Attorneys for commonwealth were Hon. T D Scofield, Gen Bowen, and Hon. James Laird. Aged 29 y 2 m 29 d Funeral Sermon was preached by B S Metzger VDM based on Matt 10:28 assisted by Rev. R Duenger and D Sonner."
