Biography

Jane was born about 1803.

She married Thomas Heslington (abt.1803-1894) in 1825^[1] and in 1841 they were living in Topcliffe with their daughter Ann (Heslington) Arculus (1831-) and 3 others.^[2]

10 years later the couple were had moved to Birmingham and were living on Sandy lane with with their youngest son William Henry Heslington (abt.1831-1866) and 2 lodgers.^[3] 10 years after that they had moved to Hencage street and were living with 1 lodger.^[4]

In 1871 Jane was living with her daughter Margaret Heslington (1826-1905), grand daughter Florence Heslington (1855-) (her father had emigrated to the USA) and a servant.^[5] Meanwhile, her husband was living with their granddaughter in Birmingham.^[6]

Jane died in 1879 in Birmingham.^[7]
