Biography
Margaret Sugg was born about 1688 in Virginia. She was the daughter of George Sugg and his first wife Miss Ives.
A deed dated July 20, 1696, and recorded in Deed Book 6 of Norfolk Co., VA, is signed by Timothy and Elizabeth (by marks), and grants 130 acres of land unto "my son-in-law George Sugg & his daughter, Margrett Sugg."[1]
Margaret was first married to Benjamin Beck, son of Jeremiah Beck and Ann Morrow.
After the death of Benjamin Beck, she married John Mercer and they had a daughter Rachel.

The source referenced shows the father's last name as Sugge, Unknown-560963 was automatically merged to Sugge-3 when I changed the name at birth. I don't recall creating this profile when a clear reference is given ??
