Biography

Alice (also known as Mabel) was born 8 Oct 1882 in Hawera, Taranaki, New Zealand. ^[1] She married Leslie Dallas Evans in in 1910. They had four sons together. Leslie was doing factory work for a time but suffered a fall which badly affected his back, so he took up taxi driving^[2]. Leslie passed away in 1925, at age 40. After Leslie's death Alice remarried to John Norton. She passed away in 1978 and is buried in Hawera^{[3] [4]}
