Joanna was the daughter of John and Joanna (Harrington) Taintor/Tainter
She married as his first wife, Ebenezer Shedd II, son of Ebenezer and Abigail (Ireland) Shedd, in Massachusetts - parents of Ann, Ebenezer III and Susanna Shedd
After her death Ebenezer married Ruth Winship on 24 Mar 1760
Ebenezer II also married Eunice Coolidge in 1779
