Biography
Augustin was born November 24th 1757, he was the son of Charles Tassé and his wife Elisabeth Bisson. He was baptized the same day in La Visitation-de-la-Bienheureuse-Vierge-Marie, Sault-au-Récollets, Montréal. [1]
On January 22nd 1781, in St-Martin de Laval, Augustin Tassé son of Charles Tassé and Elisabeth Bisson married Marguerite Marcot daughter of François Marcot and Marie Fizet. Witnesses include both fathers and a brother each, no signatures. [2]
No burial record has been identified for Augustin Tassé. He was present at the marriage of his son Augustin on 8 Feb 1819 in St-Laurent, Montréal. [3] He is deceased by the time of his son Vincent's marriage on 20 Nov 1821 in St-Martin. [4]
