John was born February 18, 1846 in Indiana. He is the son of Noah Taylor and Sarah Largent/Sargent. He married Clementine Millis February 13, 1870 in Greenwood, Kansas when he was 24 and she was 16[1]. After Clementine passed away he married Rosetta Cooper on August 23, 1891 in Greenwood, Kansas. He was 39 and she was 17[2]. John passed away on October 25, 1919 In Kansas[3]. He was 73 years old.
Research Notes
The citation for John's 2nd marriage says he was married in Wilson County, Kansas. However, The actual document says they obtained their marriage license in Wilson County but were married in Greenwood County, Kansas.
