Rebecca Teachman was born on 17 Nov. 1872 at Farmington Township, Tioga Co., Pennsylvania.[1][2] She appeared on the census of 5 June 1880 in the household of her parents, John W. Teachman and Esther (Weeks) Teachman, at Osceola, Tioga Co., Pennsylvania. [3]
She married William Henry Baker, son of Jacob Baker and Emily (Bauman) Baker, on 16 April 1896 at Elkland, Tioga Co., Pennsylvania. [1][4]
She and William Henry Baker appeared on the census of 4 June 1900 at Elkland, Tioga County, New York.[5] She and William Henry Baker appeared on the census of 15 April 1910 at Osceola, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.[6] She witnessed the death of her mother, Esther (Weeks) Teachman, on 30 Nov. 1919 at Elkland, Tioga Co., Pennsylvania and was the informant on her death certificate.[7][8] She and William Henry Baker appeared on the census of 6 Feb. 1920 at River St., Elkland, Tioga County, New York.[9] She and William Henry Baker appeared on the census of 17 April 1930.[10] She and William Henry Baker appeared on the census of 10 May 1940 at River St., Elkland, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.[11]
Rebecca died on 9 March 1950 at Elkland, Tioga Co., Pennsylvania, at age 77 and was buried at Highland Cemetery, Elkland, Tioga Co., Pennsylvania. Her memorial has a photo of her headstone shared with her husband, and links to those of family members.[1]
