Biography
Corporal Caleb Tennant served with 19th Regiment, Connecticut Militia during the American Revolution.
Caleb Tennant is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A113478.
Caleb was born about 1730. He was the son of Daniel Tennant and Elizabeth Avery.[1] He passed away about 1790.
Caleb is buried in St. Peter's cemetery in Hebron, Connecticut. His name is on a large family headstone and shows "Caleb Son of Daniel 1738, So. Glastonbury, CT - 1822" [2]

Is it possible that Caleb and Sarah got married on the day their first child Caleb was born? The white American premarital pregnancy rate peaked in the mid-eighteenth century at about 30 percent
