Frances Thompson was born in 1710.
She was the daughter of Rev Stephen Thompson and Hannah Clarke.
She married Sir Beaumont Hotham, 7th Bt, son of Sir Charles Hotham, 4th Bt, and Bridget Gee.
She died on 18 November 1771 at South Dalton, Yorkshire.
She was an ancestress of Alice Frederica Edmonstone Keppel, a mistress of King Edward VII, and of Camilla Rosemary Shand Parker Bowles, Duchess of Cornwall and Rothesay, the second wife of Prince Charles Philip Arthur George, Prince of Wales.
