Obituary
Mrs. Adelaide Kemp, widow of Dempsey C. Kemp, died at her home in Darlington (St. Helena parish) last Sunday night. Mrs. Kemp was a daughter of Col. Hez. Thompson, one of the most prominent early settlers of this parish. Mrs. Kemp, though very old, was active until a few days ago. She leaves a large family of her own and many grandchildren, together with a wide circle of relatives and friends. Her remains were laid to rest yesterday in the family graveyard. [1]
