In "Carolina Cradle", Robert W. Ramsey shows the location of this tract in his map of "The Davidson's Creek Settlement 1752-62" and identifies it as "sold to Alexander Robertson, 1758. Sold by Robertson to John Thompson, 1759.")

-my wife Elizabeth Thompson all my household and kitchen furniture during her natural life, and my house for her during her natural life and for her to have the support of my land, also the management and labor of one negro man named Dick, also one horse, bridle and saddle and four head of cattle and six head of hogs and six head of sheep;
-my daughter Cecelia and her daughter Rebecca, my house for her home and support of my land during her single life;
-my son Andrew one road waggon.
