This map shows the area of southern Iredell and northern Mecklenburg Counties in North Carolina. Centre (Presby.) Church is SW of downtown Mooresville, NC. The Catawba River (thick squiggly line running north-south, left side of map) was flooded to create Lake Norman, so much of the area depicted in this map is now under water. Location #25 was the Thompson land on Back Creek (now called McCrary's Creek).
