Born to Phillip Thompson and Jo Farris on August 4, 1976 in Liberal, Kansas. Went to college got a degree and now work as a County Clerk/Election Official.
I became interested in genealogy when I was younger and would visit with my maternal great uncle Lloyd Farris (My mom's, dads brother). He would tell some of the most intriguing stories of the family records he would find. As I got older I started working on ancestry as well and find it interesting like a giant puzzle. My mother's mother has an interesting past and I wanted to find more information on them just the same as her family. I have been doing ancestry for the past 20 years, I'm not great at it, but I really enjoy it. I'm always looking for answers and willing to help others. So, if you're stuck and would like some tips or help, let me know. I don't always get on here as much as I like (have 2 teenagers)!
