Elizabeth Adelaide Thomson was born 5 August 1853 in Kentville, Nova Scotia. She resided in Halifax, Nova Scotia from after 1881 to 1887 in the home of her cousin, Sir William Young, who wrote in his will that Elizabeth was "for a considerable time an inmate of my house since I became a widower, and has contributed to my happiness and comfort”... She married Edmund F.L. Jenner who was listed in McAlpine’s Nova Scotia Directory for 1896 in Guysboro County. Elizabeth was enumerated as a widow living in Digby, Nova Scotia in 1911. She died 27 July 1932 and is buried in Camp Hill cemetery, Halifax.
