Biography
Leslie Charles Tilley was born in 1906 in Strood, Kent[1]. He was the son of Sydney Tilley and Mabel King[2].
In 1927 he married Violet Dormer in Greenwich, Kent,[3] but they had no children. He died of pneumonia aged 39 in 1946 in Greenhithe, Kent,[4][5] and was buried in Swanscombe, Kent[6].
