Biography
Elizabeth Towers was born on 28 January 1860 at Mortlake in Surrey, [1] daughter of William Robert Towers and his wife, Mercy Gridley. She was baptised on 25th March. [2] Very soon she had a baby brother, William, and with the parents bricklayer William Towers and his wife, Mercy, the were living at Kew Rd in Richmond in 1861. [3] Ten years on they were living in Richmond with five more children in the family. [4]
Aged 31 in 1891 Elizabeth was living at 4 Ballarat Terrace, Jocelyn Rd, Richmond, a servant in the Winslow household. She died in Richmond in 1901, aged 41. [5]
