Biography
Alester was born in 1844, the son of James Douthit Tradewell and Elizabeth Christina Boatwright. [1]
He served during the Civil War as a sergeant in Holcombe's Legion cavalry battalion. [2] [3]
Alester never married, passed away in 1880, and was buried at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco, Texas. [4]
