Rosalia Tripi was born in Alia, Sicilia, about 1909. She is the daughter of Calogero Sebastiano Tripi, who works as a "pastore" or shepherd, and his legal wife Serafina DiPiazza. The family was living at Via L???? at the time of Rosalia's birth.
Rosalia Tripi was born only two months before her father's cousins Agata Tripi and Giuseppe Tripi, children of Sebastiano Tripi, III, immigrated to the USA to settle in Gary, Indiana in February 1910. Rosalia Tripi may have been named for Agata and Giuseppe's sister Rosalia Tripi who passed away in January 1904.
Rosalia Tripi was still alive in July 1956 when Agata Tripi Centanni, and her son Sebastian Centanni returned to Alia to give Agata's land to one of her nephews. We don't know if Rosalia is present in the family photos taken at that time, but it is likely that Agata visited Rosalia while in Alia.
Rosalia Tripi passed away September 17, 1969 in Alia, Sicilia, Italia, according to a margin note on her birth record added later by a clerk at the time of her death.
