ELIZABETHTOWN — Alfred C. Trombly Jr., 75, of New Russia Road, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2000, at his home. He was born on March 12, 1925, to Frederick and Mabel (Fleury) Trombly. Alfred worked for the NYSDOT for 31 years, retiring in 1987. He was devoted to St. Elizabeth’s Church as trustee and caretaker for many years. He loved music and played with the Lamplighters for over 25 years…A funeral Mass will be held July 31, 2000, at 10 a.m. at St. Elizabeth’s Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Elizabeth’s Church or to the High Peaks Hospice.^[1]
