She was born 14 Apr 1804 at Bridgetown, Nova Scotia.[1] Tamar married Richard Starr[1] 15 Sep 1829 at All Saints Anglican Church, Granville, Annapolis, Nova Scotia.[6] Tamar lived on the family farm with her husband Richard, and together they had nine children.[1]

Richard Starr died at home in 1885.[1] “Mrs. Richard Starr, in her 94th year“ died 31 Dec 1897[3][7] at Starr’s Point, Nova Scotia, Canada.
