Branch (Troup) Morris is a part of US Black heritage.

Branch was born before 1856 possibly in Georgia. His parents are unknown, but was born a slave first owned by James M Troup, first recorded in 1856 Georgia, U.S., Wills and Probate Records, then inherited by Charles M Morris his son-in-law.
