Son of John Tryon and Mildred Clark.

NOTE: For some reason his given name is consistently spelled Caniff or Canniff in the first three censuses. (Phonetic spelling?)

Married Ada Ann Kniff on 30 Sep 1903 in Frontenac, Ontario, Canada.^[1]

He died in 1947 in Belleville General Hospital, Thurlow, Ontario of general oedema and myocardial failure, burns of unknown origin noted on his leg. His nephew Minorton? Tryon was the informant.^[2]
