Biography

Frances "Frankie" Ernestine Tucker was born on October 10, 1918 in West Virginia to Ernest and Amy Townsend Tucker. She was the second of seven children born to the couple, but she had six half siblings from her father's first marriage.

Frankie was raised in Cabin Creek, West Virginia. In 1924, when she was 6 years old, the family moved to El Paso County, Colorado. But by 1934, the family had returned to Kanawha County, West Virginia. She was still living with the family there in 1940.

Sometime after 1940, she returned to Colorado. She married a man with the last name Fauber. She had at least one child, a son who died shortly after his birth.

Frankie died on November 8, 1987 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
