Biography

Max Turchick has Jewish Roots.

Max was born about 1882 in the Russian Empire.

He immigrated to the United States of America in 1904. His wife and daughter would come 3 years later.

At the time of the1920 US census, he was living at 1206 Fremont Avenue North, Minneapolis, Minnesota and was working as a junk peddler.[1]

At the time of the 1940 US census he was living at 1206 Fremont Avenue North, Minneapolis, Minnesota with his daughter, Julia Lewis (32) and her husband, Eli (37). Max was working as a peddler of scrap iron.[2]

In the 1950 census Max (age 66), Language Teacher, was the widowed father-in-law of Eli Lewis in Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota, United States.[3]
