Hi Seth

I too am interested in Jewish family from pre 1918 Lithuania. some changed their names. Some went to the USA, others to Canada, some via England. Some Canadians later to south Africa. Some of those left in the late 1900s for Australia and again - Canada. I created a Facebook group years ago, but people haven't been forthcoming AND to top it all, I was adopted and have only met a handful of my blood relatives. You are welcome to run around my family orchard and shout where there are any overlaps. Blessings always ~ Sharon

P.S. To find reliable sources for your profiles, go to the Family Tree & Tools tab; select Genealogy Research and scroll down near the bottom of that list and select Research with RootsSearch. There are over 20 websites to access from there.

One of our mentors created a tutorial for the GEDCOMpare process that I found very helpful. I hope that you will too.

Thank you for volunteering. You have successfully joined WikiTree.

Start with the pages https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:New_Member_How-To - they are really useful as you add profiles and learn your way around:

Let me know if you require assistance. I am happy to help. After adding my own family and ancestors I have found many cousins and distant ancestors here on WikiTree.

Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile as the links will work from there.
