Biography

Frances J Turner born ca. 1840, Alabama,[1] daughter of William S Turner (1802-1868) and Nancy (possibly Galbraith). William married a second time in 1849 to Tabitha Brewer Ginn in St Clair Co. Alabama.[2]

She was at home with that family in 1850. William died before 1860. In 1860 Frances/Fannie was working as a domestic in the household of James Randler.

Frances married Lewis A Seale in the mid-1860s. Their first child was born about 1867.

Frances made the move to Arkansas in 1878 and appeared in the 1880 census, but was deceased prior to 1900.

Death

Her death date is uncertain, but before 1900. She is buried in Brushy cemetery, Howard, Arkansas. She has a primitive stone marker inscribed "Fannie Seales" with no dates. [3][4]
