Biography

Felicjan Tyszkiewicz was a Polish count, lord of Pleszczenice, starosta of Strzelce, and major general of the army of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania who received his general's license in 1759.

Felicjan's father was Michał Jan Tyszkiewicz, the progenitor of the so-called of the 2nd Lithuanian (Łohoja) line of the Tyszkiewicz family, he held the office of the standard bearer of the Usar rota of the Polish and Lithuanian baława and the office of staroste of Strzelków. His mother was Regina Larska and his brothers Mikołaj, canon of Vilnius, Antoni Kazimierz, lieutenant general of the Lithuanian army and Józef Ignacy, colonel of the Lithuanian army.

He married Mosiecka, whose name is unknown. The marriage gave birth to two sons: Dominik (1756–1813), marshal of the nobility of the Borysław district, and Pius, and a daughter, Anna.

He was a member of the Extraordinary Sejm of 1750 from the Kiev Voivodeship.
