Biography
There are two wives associated with either Johann Siegismund Uber, Sr. or his son, other than Maria Thamm Uber, wife of the younger, who brought her children to the US in 1852. Names are Maria Rosina nee Hirdlein, mentioned as a godparent in a 1791 baptism, and Christiane Elisabeth Wiegert, whose 1804 marriage record does not clarify to which man she was married.
