Biography

Aaltje was born 21 November and baptized 27 December 1801 in Bleiswijk.[1][2]

Father: Dirk van den Bos
Mother: Kornelia Voorwinden

Aaltje van den Bos, 20, of Bleiswijk , daughter of Dirk van den Bos and Kornelia Voorwinden, married IJzaak van der Meer, 20, of Overschie , son of Jan van der Meer and Jannetje Plasmeijer, on 30 Mar 1822 in Bleiswijk.[3]

Arrived in Philadelphia 19 Jun 1849 from Rotterdam on ship Amicitia, with husband and children.[4] Name appears to be Adriana in these records.

In 1850, Alica Vander Bas, 46, lived in Lake Prairie, Marion, Iowa, United States.[5]

"Alida was buried on 8 December 1851 at the age of 50 years in a cemetery in the Dutch settlement of Pella, Marion County, Iowa."[6]
