Biography

Jeremiah Aretse Vanderbelt was grandson of Jan Aertsen Vanderbelt, the immigrant ancestor from Utrecht who may have come to America as early as 1650, and married 1st 6 Feb 1650 to Anneken Hendricks from Bergen in Norway, married 2nd Dierber Cornelis, married 3rd 16 Dec 1681 to Magdalena Hanse, widow of Hendrick Jansen Spier.^[1]
