Biography

Parker Varnum was born on 17 March 1745/6 in Dracut, Middlesex, Massachusetts, the son of John and Phebe (Parker) Varnum. ^[1][2]

He married first to Dorcas Brown on 31 March 1772 in Dracut, Middlesex.^[3] She was born on 31 March 1754 in Tewksbury, Middlesex, Massachusetts, the daughter of Timothy and Hannah (Osgood) Brown.^[4] Dorcus died on 29 April 1800 in Dracut at age 46.^[5]

He then married Abiah Osgood on 24 November 1801 in Dracut.^[6]

Parker died in Dracut on 18 December 1824, aged 78 years.^[2] and was buried with his wives in the Woodbine Cemetery in what was then part of Dracut, but is now in the city of Lowell.^[7] Abiah died in Dracut on 17 September 1825 at age 78.^[8]
