Benjamin was born about 1850. He is the son of Madison Vickers and Rhoda Perrine. In 1850, the family was living in Jackson, Johnson, Missouri. He was 6 months old at the time of the census, but reported on the census as 1 year old.[1]
By 1860, the family had moved to Robberson Township, Greene, Missouri.[2] By 1870, the family had moved to Johnson Township, Polk County, Missouri.[3]
Benjamin married his first wife, Rachel Angeline Goodson, about 1873. She was the daughter of William and Martha Goodson. Benjamin and Rachel had seven children. In 1880, the family was living in Johnson, Polk, Missouri.[4] The household included:

After Rachel's death sometime between 1887 and 1890, he married Mary E "Mollie" Simrell on 07 Dec 1890 in Cedar County, Missouri.[5]
By 1900, Mary and Benjamin were living in Washington Township, Cedar, Missouri, along with his children from his first marriage.[6] The household included:

Benjamin passed away in 1927. Burial was in the Alder Cemetery, Stockton, Cedar County, Missouri. His grave marker gives a birth year of 1850, however he was 1 year old on the 1850 census which would make his birth year 1849.[7] The obituary on Find A Grave states his first wife was Rachel Goodman, and his second wife, Mary Simeral. He and Rachel had seven children - 5 boys and 2 girls.
