Their son William was christened on 25 May 1819 at St Peter's Church in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire. His father's occupation was recorded as labourer.[1]
Their son James was christened on 12 Mar 1821 at St Peter's Church in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire. His father's occupation was recorded as labourer.[2]
Their son Samuel was christened on 21 Aug 1823 at St Martin's Church in Tipton, Staffordshire. His father's occupation was recorded as labourer, and the family's address as Lower Green.[3]
Their son Richard was born in about 1825 in Manchester, Lancashire. He was probably christened on 2 Mar 1828 at the parish church in Manchester; his father's occupation was recorded as labourer, and the family's address as Manchester.
Mary's husband Samuel died in 1830 in Manchester, Lancashire, and was buried on 28 Feb 1830 in Rusholme Road Cemetery, Chorlton-on-Medlock, Lancashire. His age was recorded as 43, his address as Manchester, and his cause of death as decline.
Mary married Charles Thompson or Thomason on 1 Jan 1836 at St Mary's Church in Manchester, Lancashire. Both were widowed and of the local parish; Charles was a glass blower. The witnesses were Ann Jones and Thomas Clarke, Clerk.
By June 6th 1841, they were living in Sandy Lane, Eccleston, Lancashire. Charles was a glass maker. Mary's sons Samuel (17) and Richard (15) were living with them; both were glass makers. They had a female servant, a 12-year-old Irish girl named Mary Macarey.
By March 30th 1851, Charles and Mary were living in Manchester. Charles was a glass blower. Mary's sons had left home, but they had six lodgers, two of whom were glass blowers like Charles.
Charles died in 1860 in Manchester, aged 76. He was buried on 7 Feb 1860 in Manchester General Cemetery, in what looks like an unpurchased grave.
