Biography
Carmelite Vives was born in 1786 and baptized 26 Feb 1786 at the Ascension Church in what is now Donaldsonville, Louisiana. She married Louis Landry of Ascension Parish and had ten children by him. She passed away in December, 1822; and was buried in the Ascension Church Cemetery on December 18, 1822, at the age of 36.
