Johan (23) married Maria Catharina Töben (24) (born about 1772) on 15 October 1797 in St. Bartholomäus, Schwagstorf, Fürstenau, Osnabrück, Heiliges Römisches Reich.[2] Their witnesses were Gerd Henrich von der Haar and Johan Henrich Gößling.[2]
Johan suddenly died on 7 September 1847 in auf der Weggemühlen, aged 73.[3]
