Biography
Dvoira Dora (Wajsfelner) Grylak was born in Breslau,Germany present day Wrocław Poland in 1886. She was daughter of Salomon Zalmo Wajsfelner and Leja (Anonymous) Wajsfelner.
She was sister of Bronia Brakha (Wajsfelner) Wainbaum; Chaja (Wajsfelner) Sznicer; Ester (Wajsfelner) Weichman; Herszel Wajsfelner; Jadzia Wajsfelner; Balbina Wajsfelner and Adolf Wajsfelner.
Dora was married to Haim Avrom Grylak they had four children. They lived in łódź, Łódź, Woiwodschap Łódź, Poland. She was a Łódź Ghetto Prisoners.[1] The ghetto had it's own currecy, Lodz Ghetto mark with no value on the outside. There was no chance of smuggling food or goods due to the heavy security. Jews depended heavily on the ration card system controled by the Germans which gave an intake of 1,000 to 1,200 calories per day , it led to starvation and death. Due to malnutrition Tuberculosis and other diseases were widespread. Dora died of stavation.
Dvoira Dora (Wajsfelner) Grylak was killed at the Łódź Ghetto.

Notes
Ruth Mantel Wysoki, her niece, who gave the testimony is a survivor who went through a camp, a ghetto, forest and went into hiding during the war.
