- John La Warre was the son of Jordan La Warre. [1]His mother is unknown. His birth date is an estimate.
- John la Warre, of Wickwar and Brislington, married Olympia Forkington, daughter of Sir Hugh de Forkinton, of Folkinton, Isfield, before 20 Jan 1242-3.[1]
- John and Olympia were parents of Roger de la Warre, son and heir.[1]
- John la Warre was Sheriff of Hereford Co. in 1275.[2]
